- Take a boat or flexboat to Ilha Grande (Vila do Abraão) – frequent departures, average duration 20 to 30 minutes.
- From Abraão to Araçatibinha – local fishermen’s boats, water taxis, and tours cover this stretch in about 15 to 25 minutes.
- Go to Angra dos Reis, which also has easy access via BR-101. Buses, vans, and parking are available near the pier.
- From Santa Luzia Pier (Angra) to Vila do Abraão – boats, schooners, and flexboats depart at scheduled times (50 min to 1h30).
- From Abraão to Araçatibinha – take a local boat or water taxi.
- Costa Verde Transportes buses depart from Novo Rio Bus Terminal (RJ), Terminal Roberto Silveira (Niterói), and the Bus Stations in Volta Redonda / Barra Mansa (interior RJ) to Conceição de Jacareí or Angra dos Reis.
- Get off at the pier and take a boat to Vila do Abraão
- From there, hire a local boatman or water taxi to Araçatibinha.
